Vendor's Policy

Minnesota Quilters asks companies interested in vending at the 2010 Annual Show to complete the vendor's application and send all information to the listed address by October, eight months before the show. When MQ receives applications by this deadline, notification of the vendor's status can stay on schedule.

MQ will contact you by mail between December 2009 and January 2010 to tell you the status of your application. A group of volunteers who form the vendors' committee chooses vendors. The individuals in this group changes each year. Each committee has a unique way of balancing the goods and services sold at the show. MQ always receives more applications than available space for vendors.

Unfortunately, each year MQ turns away many wonderful companies because of restrictions on space. The selection process for vendors focuses on creating a good balance of quilt-related products sold at the show. Because the show moves between four different cities, the availability of vendors' space varies. Saint Paul is our largest venue with 193 single booths for vendors available. St. Cloud is our smallest venue with fewer available booths.

Accepted companies will receive vendors' contracts and show information in January 2010, five months before the show. Vendors' contracts and vendors' booth payments and supporting paperwork are due in February, four months before the show. We ask companies who wish to decline our invitation to do so by March, three months before the show.
