Non-Judged Quilts
Non-Judged Exhibit
The non-judged exhibit is for quilters who want to display and share their quilts with others. MQ displays the non-judged quilts in their own gallery area, and the quilts are eligible for a Viewer’s Choice Award. The non-judged exhibit gives quilters the opportunity to share their guild challenges, a special gift they created, kit quilts, mystery quilts, quilt tops that are finally finished, etc. Because of the unlimited variety of quilt styles and color choices, the non-judged quilts offer inspiration to all levels of quilters.
You may submit up to two entries in the non-judged quilt exhibit. Any quilts finished after January 1, 2008 are welcome for this exhibit. Entry deadline is May 1, 2010.
To enter this exhibit:
- Complete one non-judged entry form for each quilt that you wish to enter.
- Mail the entry form plus a photo of the quilt and a stamped, self-addressed, return envelope to the following address:
Melissa Nellis
1127 Highview Drive
New Brighton, MN 55112 - Be sure to complete all parts of the entry form because MQ uses these forms to create the printed show book and to organize the non-judged quilt display. The entry form also gives you information about drop-off and pick-up options. Make sure to designate your choices.
- Each non-judged quilt must have a hanging sleeve and must have a fabric storage or transport bag. The bag can be as simple as a pillowcase. The bag must have name, address, and phone number printed on the outside.
- When MQ receives your entry form, we will respond and provide paperwork and information about dropping off and picking up your quilt(s).
- You must drop off (list in pdf) or mail in quilts for the non-judged exhibit one week before the show.
