Donations of Door Prizes
Door prizes are a fun and exciting part of our annual quilt show. During the show and conference, we hold drawings for prizes at the end of every class and lecture, plus at the annual meeting and at all special events. Volunteers who work at the show are also eligible for prizes awarded daily.
To have enough door prizes for all these events, we need your help. Please donate one or more quilting-related items that we can give as door prizes; for example, fat quarters of fabric, patterns, kits, books, chocolate for sustenance, rulers, batting, etc. Also encourage your MQ friends and non-MQ friends to make a donation of a door prize.
P.S. Be sure to bring that non-MQ friend to the show.
Items should be new or nearly new (excellent condition). When you are cleaning out your sewing area, remember MQ. Just keep in mind when choosing something to donate: Is the item something you would like to win? Does it look new?
You can mail door prizes to the following address:
Mary Pozzini
305 Darrel Ct
Stillwater, MN 55082
You may also bring door prizes to Minnesota Quilters' monthly meetings on Thursdays or Saturdays. Please make sure that you clearly label each donation with your name and address, dollar value of the item, and 2010 Show Door Prizes. We deeply appreciate all contributions. We will acknowlege every donation when we receive it. We also ask each recipient of a door prize to send her thanks.
If you have questions, please contact Mary Pozzini or Char Simonet at doorprize10@mnquilt.org. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law. We look forward to your contributions.
