Door Prizes
Don’t you always hope you’ll
be the lucky person to win a door prize? Door prizes are a fun and
exciting part of our annual show.
During the Show and Conference, drawings are held at the end of every
class and lecture, at the annual meeting, and at all special events,
including the Grand Banquet. Volunteers who work at the show are also
eligible for terrific prizes awarded daily.
To have enough door prizes for all these events, we need your help.
Please donate one or more quilting-related items that will be given as
door prizes (for example: fat quarters of fabric, patterns, kits, books,
rulers, and batting.) Also encourage your favorite shop to make a door
prize donation to MQ. Items should be new or near-new. When you are choosing
something to donate, consider: Is the item something you would like to
win? Does it look new?

You may also bring door prizes
to Thursday and Saturday Minnesota Quilters monthly meetings. Please
make sure each donation is clearly labeled with
your name and address, dollar value of the item, and “2009 Show
Door Prizes.” We deeply appreciate all contributions. Every donation
will be acknowledged when it is received. We also ask each door prize
recipient to send their thanks to the donor after the show. We look forward
to your contributions!
