2008 MQ Raffle Quilt: "Quilted Jewels"

The 2008 raffle quilt, "Quilted Jewels" was designed and sewn by MQ member Sandi Irish and machine quilted by MQ president-elect Mary Brandt. The design is a sampler of jewel-tone diamonds set on a black background, using batik fabrics. All of the fabric was generously donated by Timeless Treasures Fabrics. The pattern, produced by The Irish Chain (Sandi's pattern company), will be available at the MQ Merchandise booth at the 2008 Show. 

Minnesota Quilters, Inc. uses the proceeds from the raffle quilt to support its mission to preserve, educate, and document the art and craft of quilting in Minnesota . Raffle tickets are $1 each and are available from the MQ office, at MQ meetings, and also during the Annual Quilt Show and Conference.

(Please note, raffle tickets will not be included in the registration packet as has been the practice in previous years. To better track ticket sales and comply with state regulations, raffle tickets need to be requested.)  

The drawing will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 4:00 pm at the Mayo Civic Center . You need not be present to win. Thank you for making this fundraiser a success. And good luck!
