Parking and Shuttle Bus Service

Minnesota Quilters has arranged for quilt show parking at the County Fair Grounds on Thursday, June 26 and Friday, June 27. Shuttle bus service will be available on those days between the Fair Grounds' lot and the Mayo Civic Center. The parking fee will be $5, payable when you park at the Fair Grounds. The $5 fee includes round-trip shuttle bus service to and from the Mayo Civic Center for each person in the car. With Rochesterfest also in full swing at the same time as the Minnesota Quilters Show and Conference, this offsite parking and shuttle service will provide you with the convenience of being dropped off and picked up at the main entrance to the show, on Thursday and Friday. This will alleviate any problems that you might encounter with traffic and parking downtown during the festival. On Saturday, June 28 there will be ample parking in the ramps near the Mayo Civic Center.

Shuttle Bus Hours and Route

On Thursday, June 26 and Friday, June 27, the shuttle bus will run continuously between the Fair Grounds, designated hotels, and the Mayo Civic Center . The service will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Fair Grounds and continue until 30 minutes after the show closes. (The last shuttle on Thursday will be at 7:30 pm and on Friday it will be at 5:30 pm).

The route includes stops at the Kahler Grand Hotel, Holiday Inn and Best Western, as well as near the downtown shops that are participating in the Fat Quarter Stroll. Watch for the Minnesota Quilt Show Shuttle Bus signs and route information, which will be posted at the Mayo Civic Center and also provided when you park at the Fair Grounds.

Fashion Show and Banquet Shuttle Service

If you are going to the Fashion Show on Thursday evening or to the Banquet on Friday evening, there will be shuttle bus service to the events at the Grand Kahler Hotel from the Mayo Civic Center. There will be shuttle bus service from the Grand Kahler to the Fair Grounds parking lot and stops at hotels along the route, when the events are over.

Directions to the Fair Grounds from US Hwy 52

• Take Civic Center Drive NW exit 56a toward Mayo Clinic (1.6mi)
• Turn left on US Hwy 63 N/N Broadway (0.8mi)
• End at 1400 N Broadway at the Fair Grounds.
