2007 Raffle Quilt: "All Points North"

About the Quilt

The 2007 raffle quilt was designed by Lenore Smith, of Hudson, WI, and Michelle Swenson, formerly of Hudson, WI, currently residing in Arizona.

It is an original design based on traditional design elements. Michelle paper-pieced the Ocean Waves sections and Lenore drafted and pieced the center compass and border elliptical compasses. It was hand quilted by Lenore using original quilting designs with a bit of machine quilting in the Ocean Waves sections by a person who would prefer to remain anonymous. Michelle and Lenore chose fabrics that would give a feeling of radiance and luminosity to the design.

Raffle Tickets

Raffle tickets are $1 each and are available from the MQ office, at MQ meetings, and at the Annual Quilt Show and Conference.

Please note: Raffle tickets are not included in the registration packet as has been the practice in previous years. To better track ticket sales, raffle tickets will need to be requested.

Minnesota Quilters, Inc. uses the proceeds from the raffle quilt ticket sales to support its mission to celebrate the art of quilting.

The drawing will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 4 p.m. at the RiverCentre. You need not be present to win.
