Membership
Minnesota Quilters offers individual memberships for adults and youth. Membership is also available for quilt-related businesses. All memberships are for one year. Continue reading to see benefits and cost.
Individual / Student
$45 (Student $20)
- Youth membership is available for youth to age 18 and students with a student ID card.
- MQ News, our monthly newsletter, emailed to you with information about upcoming meetings, quilt shows around the Midwest, quilt shops' special events, and much more. A black and white printed newsletter can be postal mailed to you for an additional $20 per year.
- Thursday Thimbleful email sent to members on Thursdays with the latest news.
- Access to virtual meetings and events. (access link emailed to members in advance).
- Early registration for The Minnesota Quilt Show.
- Membership discounts for the MQ annual show and other MQ events.
- Access to our library and video library at the Textile Center of Minnesota.
- Voting privileges.
- Access to the online Member Directory.
Business
$75
- All benefits and privileges enjoyed by regular members (see left).
- Name and Link on Business Member page of the Minnesota Quilters, Inc. website during your membership term.
- Helpful Referrals to your business location by MQ office staff.
- Your business Name and Location published in January, April, July and September issues of the MQ monthly newsletter.
- Name and Location Listed in the MQ Annual Report published at the end of each calendar year.
- Opportunity to apply for vending at an MQ monthly meeting.
- Eligibility for Frequent Advertiser rates for ads in the MQ monthly newsletter. View current ad rates.
- 2 free business card size ads during calendar year in MQ monthly newsletter.
- Opportunity to apply to offer workshops to MQ members in coordination with MQ Education calendar if space and/or schedules allow. For further information regarding this opportunity, contact the MQ Education Director at [email protected].
Individuals can become an MQ supporting member by renewing at one of our two new sponsor levels:
- Baltimore Album, $75 per year ($30 tax deductible)
- Dresden Plate, $125 per year ($80 tax deductible).
These sponsoring levels will be available when you join or renew.
Join/Renew, Change Personal Information
Minnesota Quilters, Inc. provides an online Membership Management tool (Cvent) for members. If you need to do any of the following, you will need to set up a log-in account.
- Join MQ or renew your membership (even if your membership has expired)
- Update your contact information (Personal information will never be shared with anyone other than members)
- Change your password
- Access the member directory
How to Join MQ or Renew Your Membership
To become a member or to renew your membership, you can do one of the following:
- Join or Renew online using Cvent's Membership Management tool.
- Print a paper Membership form, which includes instructions for completing and mailing.
- Attend a Minnesota Quilters meeting and join or renew there.
How to update Your Contact Information:
- Once you have set up your account and password, you can personally update your MQ Membership contact information online using Cvent's Membership Management tool
- Ask the MQ Office staff to update your information for you. To protect your personal security, we ask that changes be communicated in writing.
- Send an email to our Office Administrator at [email protected].
- Mail the changes to the MQ office (253 State Street, St. Paul, MN 55107-1612).
- Drop off the changes at the MQ office. Please call ahead to verify that someone will be present.
