Fall Getaway:

Begining Thursday Oct 7, 2010. This will be a relaxing, fun filled weekend of sewing at the University of MN Forestry Center at Cloquet. The Center is the University's primary forestry research and teaching facility. It is surrounded by beautiful pine forest, which is home to many species of birds and animals - including wolves.
Each dorm room accommodates 2 with twin beds, private bathroom with shower, 2 closets and 2 desks. Each building has a kitchen with a full size refridgerator. Members $225, Non-Members $255.

Here are some of the fun things we will be doing: Lottery block exchange, mystery quilt, Quilts of Valor, make a block carrier, learn how to quilt as you go. You can take part in as many of these as you like or skip them all to work on your own project or, maybe, just take long walks.

Future MQ Shows

The 2011 quilt show and conference will be held in St. Paul, Minnesota. The dates are June 16-18, 2011.
